Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 will release September 12 in North America and September 14 in Europe.
Konami says PES 2018 will see more new additions to the franchise than there’s been in a decade. Improvements noted by the company include PC enhancements for console parity, a fresh user interface with a broadcast feel, and adjusted control systems — like strategic dribbling — for more fluidity.
The visuals also are getting a new can of paint, particularly with the animation and lighting systems. Konami is expanding the online portions of PES 2018 too, offering full 11-vs.-11 matches as well as co-operative 2-vs.-2 and 3-vs.-3 modes.
Speaking of online, Konami is keeping its eye on the eSports ball, saying PES 2018 will have PES League “fully integrated into the main game.”
