Titanfall fans have much to look forward to, as Respawn Entertainment has no plans to abandon its first-person shooter franchise anytime soon.
“It’s important for us to keep the franchise going,” Respawn CEO Vince Zampella told GameSpot, after noting the sales for Titanfall 2 were good, but could have been better. “We have our franchise creative director, who’s in charge of safeguarding the franchise in multiple formats and making sure it continues to grow,” he added.
Zampella went on to stress that Respawn is “heavily invested in the Titanfall universe,” saying there’s content they’re working on that hasn’t been announced yet. “We’re working on more Titanfall—we’re not announcing what that is yet, but there’s a few other things in the works,” he said.
